Undoped KGW crystal is a high-performance monoclinic double tungstate crystal with outstanding Raman conversion properties and excellent optical stability. It features a large Raman scattering cross-section, high polarization stability, low thermal depolarization loss, and superior laser damage resistance. Compared with conventional YAG and YVO₄ crystals, KGW enables efficient multi-stage Raman frequency shifting without additional nonlinear components.
Applications:
- All-solid-state Raman lasers for 1064 nm pumped 1170 nm / 1300 nm infrared output
- Polarization control and wavelength tuning optical elements
- Substrate for rare-earth doped laser crystals
- Ultrafast pulse generation and narrow-linewidth frequency-stabilized laser systems
