MgO-Doped Lithium Niobate (MgO:LN) Crystals have an effective nonlinear coefficient around 13.8 pm/V, substantially superior to ZnTe, KTP and LiTaO₃, delivering high nonlinear gain and enhanced THz conversion efficiency. It also have a THz transmission window from 0.1–7 THz and strong lattice vibrational absorption emerges above 7 THz.
Default cut: Y-cut, 63° Z-face tilted cut for tilted-wavefront phase matching.
Available aperture size: up to 60x60 mm; longer interaction lengths yield higher THz gain and pulse energy.
DIENTECH offers SLN elevated nonlinear coefficient of 17.5 pm/V, reduced intrinsic THz absorption and amplified Raman gain. Its THz output energy reaches ~2.7 times that of conventional congruent MgO:CLN under identical pumping conditions, while exhibiting slightly weaker photorefractive resistance.
