Gallium phosphide (GaP) single crystal is the standard material for terahertz (THz) systems.THz generation and coherent detection are realized via three primary nonlinear optical effects: optical rectification, collinear difference frequency generation (DFG), and electro-optic sampling (EOS). Compared with zinc telluride (ZnTe), GaP features suppressed two-photon absorption and a higher laser damage threshold, making it compatible with high-power Yb-doped fiber femtosecond pump lasers operating at 1030 nm / 1064 nm.
GaP crystal is an ideal material work as THz Emitter & Detector. It can emitte broadband THz radiation via optical rectification delivers a spectral coverage of 0.1–7 THz, fully covering the working band of mainstream THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS).
Application:
· THz Time-Domain Spectroscopy (THz-TDS)
· Non-Destructive Testing & Security Inspection
· High-Power Narrowband THz Source Systems
