    Technical parameters

    BiB3O6 (BIBO) is a newly developed nonlinear optical crystal. It possesses large effective nonlinear coefficient, high damage threshold and inertness with respect to moisture. Its nonlinear coefficient is 3.5 - 4 times higher than that of LBO, 1.5 -2 times higher than that of BBO. It is a promising doubling crystal to produce blue laser. 
    BiB3O6 (BIBO) is an excellent kind of nonlinear Optical Crystal. NLO Crystals BIBO Crystals possesses large effective nonlinear coeffcient, wide advanced characteristic for the NLO application broad transparency range from 286nm to 2500nm, high damage threshold and inertness with respect to moisture. Its nonlinear coefficient is 3.5-4 times higher than that of LBO crystal, 1.5-2 times higher than that of BBO crystal. It is a promising doubling crystal to produce blue laser 473nm, 390nm.
    BiB3O6 (BIBO) for SHG is very common, especially Nonlinear Optical BIBO Crystal Second harmonic generation at 1064nm, 946nm and 780nm.
    The feature of this kind of Optical Crystal BIBO Crystal are as follows:
    large effective SHG coefficient (about 9 times that of KDP);
    Wide temperature-bandwidth;
    Inertness with respect to moisture.
    Applications:
    SHG for middle and high power Nd: lasers at 1064nm;
    SHG of high power Nd: lasers at 1342nm & 1319nm for red and blue laser;
    SHG for the Nd: Lasers at 914nm & 946nm for blue laser;
    Optical Parametric Amplifiers (OPA) and Oscillators (OPO) application.
