KOALA encompasses a broad variety of topics within the field of optics, atoms, and laser applications in physics. Previous students have presented their research in fields such as atomic, molecular and optical physics, quantum optics, spectroscopy, micro and nanofabrication, biophotonics, biomedical imaging, metrology, nonlinear optics and laser physics. Many attendees have never been to a conference before and are at the very beginning of their research career. KOALA is a great way to learn about different research fields in physics, as well as valuable presenting, networking, and communication skills in a friendly environment. By presenting your research to your peers, you will gain a fresh perspective on physics research and science communication.
DIEN TECH as one of the Sponsors of the IONS KOALA 2018, will look forward to the success of this conference.
